TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
