Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
